Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I get my inclusions to you?
After placing an order you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to ship your inclusions.
How much milk, cremation ash, dried flowers, or hair do you need?
10-15 ml of milk, 5 ml of cremation ash, 10-15 strands of hair at least 1 inch in length (more/longer if possible), and 1-2 petals of each type of flower that you want included in your piece. The previously stated amounts are usually enough to make multiple pieces of jewelry. If you are using separate inclusions for multiple pieces or want multiple inclusions combined for one piece, please leave a note during checkout.
Example 1: You ordered two rings and want separate milk for each ring, leave a note during checkout of which milk is for which ring.
Example 2: You ordered one ring but want two separate milks combined in the same ring, leave a note during checkout so that I know to send you two containers in your shipping kit.
When will my order be completed?
The total turn around time is usually 8-12 weeks from the time that I receive your inclusions as long as there are no delays with the postal service. This turn around time is subject to change.
How do you design my piece?
I combine the inclusions and design add-on's that you selected on your order and place them how I feel looks best depending on the size, shape, and colors of your selections. If you have a specific "look" that you want for your piece, you can leave a note during checkout. If what you requested is not possible I will email you to discuss other design options. If you're not sure how the design you have in mind would look, feel free to email me and I will be happy to work with you to create your dream keepsake!
Are certain settings available in different metals?
Most of the settings listed on the site are available in other metals but some are not. I try to add all possible options on each listing but if you see a setting you would like, but want it in a different metal feel free to email me and I will let you know if it's available and then add it to the site for you.
Will I receive pictures of my completed piece before it is shipped?
Yes. I email pictures of completed pieces to each client for approval before they are shipped.
What if I'm not happy with my piece?
If you are not satisfied with the picture of your jewelry that was emailed to you, please feel free to say so before it is shipped. This gives me an opportunity to discuss what you do or do not like about your piece and it can be remade immediately to your liking. If you like the way the jewelry looked in pictures but are not happy with it in person, send me an email and we will work on a resolution. My number one goal is client satisfaction and if you are not happy with the way something looks, I will do my best to fix it!
What do you do with the inclusions that are not used in my jewelry?
I saved any unused preserved breast milk and hair for a year to make future orders easier or in case something needs to be remade. However, you can request a return of your inclusions at any time. Other inclusions like cremation ash or dried flowers are always returned with your completed jewelry.
